Skadden advised JP Morgan, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Daiwa Capital Markets Europe and Morgan Stanley as the underwriters in the USD500 million offering of 1.625% government-guaranteed bonds due 20 January 2027 by Japan Bank of International Co-operation, the first Japanese government-guaranteed green bond issuance by any issuer. The notes were listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. The Skadden team in Tokyo was led by partner Kenji Taneda with Asia-Pacific Counsels Ken Kiyota and Louis Artime.
