The Indonesian Corporate Counsel Association (ICCA) plotted its 2025 work programme and long-term plans at Richie Garden Resto & Villa, in the rolling tea plantation hills of Sentul, on 1 February.

Encouragingly, it was officially announced that ICCA membership had surged by nearly 40% since last year, reaching 159 corporate members and 426 individual members as of January 2025.

At the first working meeting of this year, Seradesy Sumardi, ICCA president and chief legal counsel at L’Oréal Indonesia, expressed optimism for continued membership growth driven by various new programmes.

The 2025 agenda plans to offer programmes including the In-House Counsel Summit & Awards, in collaboration with Hukumonline and the Asia Pacific Corporate Counsel Alliance Conference.

Additionally, the ICCA aims to enhance its partnership programme, continue international and national engagement, and pursue advocacy initiatives.

During the gathering, Widia Hutagaol, ICCA vice president for internal affairs and head of legal and government relations at Beiersdorf Indonesia, presented a review of the past year.

ICCA vice president for external affairs and Hijra group general counsel, Randi Ikhlas Sardoni, along with other external division heads, also provided insights.

The meeting concluded with Sumardi acknowledging the association’s success in 2024, and encouraging all administrators to strengthen their commitment to the corporate counsel profession.

The session ended with a team-building activity to strengthen solidarity among ICCA board officers.
