Introduction

Nicole Yuan has extensive experience in international commercial arbitration and litigation, advising clients in various areas such as international trade, infrastructure, foreign investment, real estate, technology, media and telecommunications. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has been awarded the certificate for documentary credit specialists. She was a recommended arbitration lawyer by Legal 500 and listed in the top 20 dispute resolution lawyers (under 40 partners) by Legalband.

Yuan has acted as lead counsel in dozens of large and complicated commercial disputes valued in billions of renminbi. International clients she has represented are from Germany, France, the US, the UK, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Poland, Hungary, Ghana, etc. She has represented dozens of these clients against Chinese entities, and Chinese clients against foreign entities before various arbitral tribunals and courts. Her experience in business operations, transactions, litigation and arbitration has enabled her to help clients with risk control and case analysis, and solve problems in an accurate, effective and cost-efficient manner.
