Jiang Shen

Introduction

Jiang Shen graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master of Laws degree and a specialist certificate in the field of entertainment law. He has more than 10 years of experience in domestic and international practice, with focus on industries such as consumer, gastronomy, AI, healthcare and life sciences, arts, entertainment and sports.

In the capital markets field, Jiang was in charge of the listing of Sichuan Baicha Baidao Industrial (ChaPanda), Shanghai Jinjiang Shipping Group, Gaush Meditech, Lepu ScienTech Medical Technology (Shanghai), Nayuki Holdings, Trip.com Group, Desun Real Estate Investment Services Group, Yuexiu Services Group, Simcere Pharmaceutical Group, Burning Rock Biotech and Heartland , and participated in domestic and overseas IPOs of Xiaomi and iQIYI.

In PE and VC, Jiang has provided investment and financing, equity incentives and other legal services to nearly 100 companies, including Sinsegye and Maas Technology. He has assisted many well-known domestic and foreign enterprises and PE funds, including Sequoia Capital, Shanghai International Port Group, Cowin Capital, Suning Group, Yao Capital, Frees Fund, ZhenFund and Delian Group, in completing their PE investment projects in China and abroad.

In sports, Jiang is the long-term legal adviser of Shanghai Port Football Club, and has provided sports-specific legal services for more than 30 domestic and foreign professional sports clubs, sports industry associations, leagues, industry companies and national athletes, among others. He has organised hundreds of projects and managed cases related to the signing, transfer, termination and disputes involving domestic and foreign football players and coaches.

Jiang’s experience in entertainment includes serving as the long-term legal adviser to actress Zhao Liying and her studio. He is active in film and television, brokerage, novels, games and derivatives markets, providing all-around legal services for film and television production firms, distribution companies, relevant agencies, gaming companies, top artists, writers, musicians and other clients for many years.
