Michael Liu

Introduction

Michael Liu is a senior partner at Dacheng Law Offices in Shanghai. He is a senior lawyer, a senior economist, and holds an MBA degree. With more than 26 years of experience in legal practice, Liu has proven expertise in various areas.

Liu is an expert consultant for civil and administrative affairs at the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the director of the Intellectual Property Professional Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, and the deputy director of the Dispute Resolution and Disciplinary Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association. He is a member of the Intellectual Property Research Association of the Shanghai Law Society, a member of the Legal Advisory Committee of the Shanghai Science and Technology Association, a mediator at the Shanghai Economic, Trade and Commercial Mediation Centre, a legal expert at the Jiangsu Information Network Security Association, an independent director of Shanghai Volkswagen Public Utilities (Group), and has been a member of the Expert Deliberation Committee of the Shanghai Higher People’s Court on multiple occasions. He is also a graduate tutor at the Shanghai International Intellectual Property Institute of Tongji University and an external tutor for Outstanding Legal Talent Training at the College of Criminal Law of East China University of Political Science and Law.
