Chen Yimin

Introduction

Chen Yimin is the executive director of Jingtian & Gongcheng’s Shanghai office, responsible for the management of its daily affairs. He graduated from Shanghai University and Tongji University, and has over 25 years of practice experience. He is a legal adviser for the Xuhui District People’s Government as well as an independent director of Livit Life Insurance and an A-share listed company.

Chen specialises in capital markets, M&A, investment and financing. In recent years, his practice has mainly focused on the consumer and retail industry, with clients ranging from offline leisure and entertainment, outdoor sports and equipment, domestic cosmetics, pop toys and animation. These include Pop Mart, Judydoll Makeup, Mei KTV, MR X, Snow 51 and Man Wah Holdings. The Hong Kong listing of Pop Mart completed by Chen’s team as the issuer’s PRC legal adviser won the “Tianxin List – The Most Representative IPO Cases of Startups of 2020”.
