Introduction

Edwin Northover is a partner at the Hong Kong office of Debevoise & Plimpton, as well as its head of financial institutions in Asia. He has a broad cross-border public and private mergers and acquisitions practice, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and distribution agreements in the insurance industry.

Since his move to Asia in 2012, Northover has worked on some of the most significant insurance M&A transactions in Asia. He has extensive private equity experience, having worked on a number of strategic co-investments.

Northover is qualified to practice in both England & Wales and Hong Kong.
