Rodney Teoh

Introduction

Rodney Teoh is an owner partner of Stevenson Wong & Co. He is a deputy head of corporate finance and co-head of fintech of the firm. He is also a senior partner at AllBright Law (Hong Kong) Offices, which is associated with Stevenson Wong & Co.

Teoh is quad-qualified in Australia (New South Wales), Hong Kong, England & Wales and the PRC (Greater Bay Area). Teoh was trained at well-reputed international law firms prior to joining Stevenson Wong & Co in 2014.

Teoh graduated from the University of New South Wales with Bachelor’s degrees in law and commerce (majoring in accounting). His practice covers a broad range of commercial and corporate finance work, including initial public offerings, secondary equity offerings, pre-IPO investments, bond offerings, corporate restructurings, fintech and blockchain advisory. He has also advised on various cross-border public and private M&A, and takeovers of Hong Kong-listed companies. Teoh has been retained by Hong Kong-listed companies on their post-listing compliance and other matters.

Teoh often speaks at seminars and directors’ trainings to share his experience and insights on topics such as Hong Kong SPACs, Hong Kong listing rules, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and listing compliance. Teoh was recognised as a Recommend Lawyer in The Legal 500 and a Highly Regarded lawyer in Capital markets: Debt – Foreign, Financial and Corporate and Investment Funds by IFLR1000 in 2024.

He was also recognised in The A-List: Growth Drivers for China Practice by China Business Law Journal in 2023. He was honoured as a Leading Lawyer in capital markets and corporate and M&A in 2018 by Asialaw Profiles. Teoh was also nominated for Young Lawyer of the Year in the Asian Legal Business Hong Kong Law Awards 2017.
