Li Haibo

Introduction

Haibo Li is a senior partner and director of the Financial Department at Landing Law Offices. Additionally, he serves as the chairman of the Youth Entrepreneurs Club at Fudan University Real Estate Finance Alumni Association, an external mentor at East China University of Political Science and Law, a part-time lecturer at Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (Finance Master’s Program), and vice president and joint secretary-general of the Shanghai Alumni Association of Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance. He has also been a mentor for the 2022 Shanghai Sci-Tech Enterprise Tank and participated as a guest speaker at the Shanghai Sci-Tech Enterprise Establishment Conference, sharing insights on “Legal Pitfalls for Sci-Tech Enterprises”.

Li graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law with a bachelor’s degree in law. After gaining rich work experience in courts and procuratorates, he pursued further studies, earning a master’s degree in business law from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK and a PhD in global finance from the PBC School of Finance at Tsinghua University. Previously, he served as the chief partner of Yuanwen (Shanghai) Law Firm before joining Landing Law Offices.

In addition to his practice areas, Li has expertise in banking, securities, trusts, futures, private equity funds, financing leases and factoring. He acts as a long-term legal adviser or project attorney for multiple listed and pre-listed companies, large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises, and government agencies.

Li boasts a diverse clientele spanning numerous sectors, with a strong emphasis on monetary and financial services, capital market services, real estate, software and information technology services, business services, wholesale trade, promotion and application of scientific and technological advancements, resident services, internet and related services, as well as research and experimental development.
