Li Amin

Introduction

Li Amin obtained his legal professional qualification certificate in 2009, worked in the enforcement division of Beijing Miyun County People’s Court in 2010, joined the dispute resolution department of a well-known law firm in 2012, obtained his law license in January 2015, and joined the Shanghai branch of Commerce & Finance Law Office in 2018 as a partner.

Li’s main practice areas are securities compliance and securities litigation. He is adept at handling administrative penalties, civil compensation and criminal counselling cases related to information disclosure violations, insider trading, market manipulation, etc.

He is familiar with the securities compliance business of listed companies, directors, supervisors, and senior management, as well as securities service providers, in responding to daily inspections and stock exchange inquiries, specialising in providing full-process legal services in the areas of securities compliance and securities litigation for them, and has accumulated rich experience in disputes over major asset reorganisations and private offerings of listed companies.

During years of practicing, Li has acted for listed companies, securities companies, auditing institutions, appraisal institutions and other legal entities, and he has handled many securities compliance and litigation cases from different perspectives.

Li’s representative cases include, but are not limited to, the following: Kangmei Pharmaceuticals securities misrepresentation case (selected as one of the Deals of the Year 2021 of China Business Law Journal; the Top Ten Cases of the People’s Court of 2021; and the Top Ten Cases of 2021 that promoted the process of the Rule of Law in the New Era); the LeTV securities misrepresentation case (selected as one of the Top Ten Incidents of China Commercial Law of 2023); the Feile Audio securities misrepresentation case (selected as one of the Top Ten Nomination Cases of 2021 that promoted the process of the Rule of Law in the New Era and Reference Cases of the Shanghai High People’s Court); the first case of liability disputes for damaging corporate interests filed by an investor protection agency (selected as one of the Top Ten Nominated Cases of 2021 that promoted the process of the Rule of Law in the New Era); the litigation on the right of recovery arising from the fraudulent issuance of Wuyang Bonds; the case on the manipulation of market by the Fuxing Group; and the administrative penalties and civil compensation cases on insider trading that triggered by the fat-finger error of Everbright Securities.
