Introduction

With more than 20 years of legal experience, Annie Liao is a highly respected attorney and partner at LCS & Partners. She specialises in cross-border investments, corporate M&A, real estate transactions, capital markets, venture capital and trust planning. Her expertise has been instrumental in advising financial institutions, multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals on complex legal matters.

Liao holds a Bachelor of Laws from National Taiwan University and an EMBA in international business management from the same institution. She is a member of the Taiwan Bar Association, the Governance Professionals Institute of Taiwan, and the Taiwan FinTech Industry Promotion Association.

Throughout her career, Liao has played a pivotal role in high-profile transactions, including representing financial institutions and corporations in M&A, and syndicated loan agreements. She recently advised on the sale of six large-scale commercial properties valued at NTD30.69 billion and represented a global publicly listed company in acquiring a Taiwanese entity in the luxury brand sector.
