Introduction

Masengi led the restructuring of Indonesia’s state-owned electricity company, PLN, overseeing the transfer of 21,352MW of power generation assets worth IDR 330 trillion (USD 21 billion) and the creation of four sub-holding companies, a transformative effort to enhance efficiency and accelerate Indonesia’s renewable energy transition. He also served as legal advisor for PT PLN Indonesia Power in the Hijaunesia 2023 Project, guiding the procurement of 1,055MW of solar and wind power projects, solidifying his position as a key figure in Indonesia’s energy sector.
