Introduction
Pheo Hutabarat is the founding and managing partner of HHR Lawyers. He has constantly practised law for over 30 years, with working experience in Indonesia and overseas. He has led several practice groups, including commercial dispute resolutions, capital market, banking and finance, trade and competition, tourism and real Estate, shipping, water infrastructure and privatisation, insurance and reinsurance, and personal data protection.
His experience in structuring legal frameworks, negotiating, providing legal strategy, and preparing transactions documents has led him to handle various types of international and domestic projects, and advise on litigation and arbitration cases for multinational and Indonesian conglomerate companies.
In legal professional circles, he is the member of: (i) the presidium and the chairman of honourary board of the Congress of Indonesian Advocates (ADVOKAI), (ii) the Indonesian Association of Capital Market Legal Consultant, licensed as a capital market legal consultant (HKHPM), and (iii) the International Bar Association (IBA).
