Greg Joseph SJ TIONGCO

Introduction

Greg Joseph SJ Tiongco is a seasoned Philippine lawyer and a founding partner of Tiongco Siao Bello & Associates. He is recognised for his extensive experience in corporate law, litigation and labour law, with a career spanning more than 20 years. The firm, which he co-founded in 2010, has become one of the most active and well-known law firms in the country with offices in Metro Manila, Cebu City and Davao City.

Tiongco’s practice areas include corporate law, M&A, disputes and litigation, labour law, foreign investments, and financial technology. He has advised some of the country’s largest conglomerates and serves as a consultant for multinational companies operating in the Philippines. He has received significant professional recognition, including being named a Philippines Client Choice Lawyer, an Asia Super 50 TMT Lawyer, and one of Asia’s Super 50 Disputes Lawyers. He was also recently identified by the Legal 500 as a Recognised Lawyer in Corporate Practice and Litigation and Disputes.

He earned his Juris Doctor with honours and a silver medal from the Ateneo Law School. He is an active leader in the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, having served as a director of the Quezon City chapter and as a commissioner on bar discipline since 2019. He also teaches courses on torts and damages and fintech law at the Manuel L Quezon University Law School.
