Introduction

Minerva A Santos is a senior Partner of PunoLaw. Her practice focuses on corporate law, M&A, project development, power, electric utilities and energy and securities.

Santos’ practice encompasses a wide range of corporate matters, including advising clients in their acquisition of shares or assets of entities in the power, telecommunications and real estate industries. Her experience extends to representing project sponsors throughout the development process of power projects, from project documentation to financing and regulatory compliance. She has also advised clients in their bid to acquire the power generation assets of the government.

Santos has a strong background in capital market transactions. She has represented issuers in various offerings, including initial public offering, public offering and private placement of debt and equity securities, and listings on the Philippine Stock Exchange.

Santos regularly advises clients on foreign investments, establishment of presence in the Philippines, structuring and regulatory compliance.
