Introduction

Teh Meng Teck is the managing partner and co-founder of Cheah Teh Su, which was established in 1989.

He specialises in commercial litigation with a strong emphasis on shareholders’ disputes, financial services, asset recovery and insolvency and has represented public listed companies, insurance companies, investment bank, financial institutions, and ultra high-net-worth clients.

Meng Teck is the lead instructing solicitor and strategist in a multijurisdictional shareholders’ dispute, which has spawned more than 60 separate suits in various jurisdictions and multiple appeals to the highest appellate court in Malaysia, Singapore and the Caribbean up to the Privy Council.
