Introduction
Dino Tamayo has 35 years of experience in contentious work, with multiple citations for construction litigation, dispute resolution, real estate and construction, intellectual property, media and entertainment, IT and telecoms, and commercial and transactions. Asian Legal Business (Thomson Reuters) named him the Philippines Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year in 2021, and he is on Asia Business Law Journal’s Philippines Top 100 Lawyers – The A-List for 2024 and 2025.
He graduated from the University of the Philippines (AB Economics, 1984) and the Ateneo de Manila University (Bachelor of Laws, second honours, 1989).
He joined Poblador Bautista & Reyes in 1994 and is now a senior partner and a member of its executive committee. He is the current president of the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines and a director since 2011. He is a director of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, which operates the country’s national electrical grid.
