Introduction
Danny E Bunyi is a senior partner at DivinaLaw and the head of the firm’s corporate and special projects practice group.
He was formerly the senior vice president and corporate secretary for one of the largest government-owned banks in the country.
He is a lecturer at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Government, the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law, and the Trust Institute Foundation of the Philippines.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Legal Management degree and Bachelor of Laws degree from the Ateneo de Manila University.
His work in servicing the firm’s clients has led to multiple awards in areas of banking and finance, corporate and commercial law, and private equity and venture capital. He was recognised as a Commended External Counsel of the Year for 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 by the In-House Community. He was honoured as one of the Philippines’ Client Choice Lawyers by Asian Legal Business for 2021 and 2022. He was also named among Asia Business Law Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers in the Philippines for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
