Simon Fielder

Introduction

As joint leader of Bird & Bird’s India Strategy Group alongside Nipun Gupta, Simon works closely with our 32 offices across Africa, Asia, America, Europe and the Middle East as part of Bird & Bird’s one firm approach to providing advice to international clients. He co-ordinates the firm’s advice on corporate and financing matters and has worked with clients such as Infosys, MPL Gaming, Serum Life Sciences and Tech Mahindra. 

Simon works with international corporates, venture capital investors and private equity funds on equity investments, joint ventures and cross-border M&A.  He is regularly involved on transactions involving the Asia-Pacific region, including in India and Southeast Asia.  He has developed significant industry knowledge across a range of sectors, particularly in technology, life sciences and media and has been a director of and board adviser to companies in the media sector.
