Ye Han

Introduction

Ye Han is a partner at Merits & Tree Law Offices and the head of the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Department. He also serves as a fair-competition review and antitrust/competition expert for several administrations for market regulation in Beijing, Jiangsu, Shandong and other provinces and cities. He is a member of the Competition and Antitrust Committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association and is an evaluation expert of the China Beijing Equity Exchange. Prior to joining Merits & Tree, Ye worked at a well-known “red circle” law firm for many years.

Ye has extensive experience in the fields of antitrust and competition, and regulatory and compliance. He has led and participated in hundreds of legal projects of various types and has provided legal services to numerous top-tier corporations from different jurisdictions, including those from China, the US, the EU and Taiwan, and has also offered competition law services to several government authorities, covering various industries including semiconductors, TMT, Internet, automobile and spare parts, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, public utilities, etc.

Ye’s experience covers a broad scope of antitrust/competition law services, with high-profile cases in each of them, including antitrust investigations, antitrust litigation, merger filings (including with restrictive conditions and the lifting of restrictive conditions), antitrust compliance and fair competition reviews.

Ye has been recognised by numerous well-known domestic and foreign legal rating agencies.

Ye obtained an LLB and an LLM from Shandong University, along with an LLM from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has been admitted to practise law in China and is also qualified to work in the fund industry in China.
