Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys won the 16th edition of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Cricket Tournament 2024, marking their third consecutive event victory.

The final match was held on 1 December 2024 at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. Captain Anurag Kapur, partner at the firm, led the team, beating S&A Law by six runs in a thrilling last-over finish.

The tournament featured 28 leading law firms and players competing in a T20 styled face-off. Lakshmikumaran’s road to victory saw the team beat Charter Law Chambers comfortably in the quarter-finals and a nail-biting win against the Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas team in the semi-finals.

It was the third time in a row that Lakshmikumaran faced S&A Law in the tournament final. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Lakshmikumaran posted a total of 138 runs for seven wickets to defeat a spirited S&A Law team, which was restricted to 132 for eight wickets.

Lakshman Singh earned the Man of the Match award for his stellar all-round performance, while Yogesh Srinivasan won Batsman of the Tournament with 311 runs at an impressive average of 62.2. Raghavan Ramabadran was declared Bowler of the Tournament for taking 10 wickets with an economy rate of 5.17.
