Introduction
Meraj Noor is a partner in the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice, focusing on securities and corporate law with a special focus on India-related transactions. He has represented both issuers and underwriters in various public securities offerings by Indian companies on their 144A and Reg S equity offerings, as well as on corporate commercial matters. He has also advised on several cross-border M&A matters across a wide range of sectors such as technology, healthcare, and consumer products. Additionally, Meraj has experience with corporate commercial matters, and foreign investment advice.
Meraj plays a key role in the firm’s India practice and works closely with Pallavi Wahi and John Magnin, co-chairs of the global India practice team.
He has a strong reputation in the Indian market and has been named by India Business Law Journal’s A-List 2019–2024, which features the top international lawyers for India-related matters.
Previously, Meraj served as the International Deputy Chair of the Global India Group for a global law firm. He has also worked in the Dubai office of a global law firm where he helped establish the firm’s India desk for the Middle East. Meraj started his career in Bangalore and subsequently worked in New Delhi with a leading Indian law firm.
