Luthra and Luthra has acted for a group of lenders involved in a INR14.36 billion (USD172 million) loan to Zenataris Renewable Energy, a special purpose vehicle of Fourth Partner Energy.
Partner Karan Mitroo led the transaction team, with the assistance of managing associate Ankita Parasar, as well as support from senior associate Samarth Sharma, and associates Aishwarya Dixit, Riddhi Sri, and Harshil Kakkar.
The lenders are Union Bank of India, India Infrastructure Financing Company and Bank of India.
This loan will partially fund the project costs for a 66MW and 62.7MW wind power plants, and a 155MW solar power scheme, in Vijayanagar district, Karnataka.
The transaction marks Fourth Partner Energy’s largest debt financing loan to date.
